A shifting, site-specific ensemble The Real Cool Time is no fixed thing. It mutates. It
absorbs the blood and breath of whoever stands with it — Berlin locals, lost travelers,
conspirators from other corners of the map. Each night is a new body.
What you’ll hear is not a setlist, but a ceremony of long-form pieces of harmony and
dissonance locked in a slow, delirious embrace.
In giant or tiny constellations, shorter or longer timelines it is constructed of combinations
of electric guitars, drums, synths, machines, banjo, fire or flickering video. The music
swells and collapses like a living thing, built to shake you, to catch you in its teeth, and to
remind you what music was before it became background noise.
